Box Office Records Spirited Away

As of november 11th, Hayao Miyazaki’s Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi officially became the highest grossing film ever released in Japan, surpassing Titanic’s box office record of 26 billion yen. Sen to Chihiro has recorded 26.2 billion yen in box office sales and drawn 20.23 million viewers. Second place Titanic earned 26 billion yen from 16.8 million viewers.
