Buffalo Gonin Musume Live Action Video Announced

Moyoco (Hataraki Man, Sakuran) Anno’s ongoing manga Buffalo Gonin Musume (Five Girls of Buffalo) will be getting a live-action music video adaptation directed by Sakuran director Mika Ninagawa. The video will be set to Kumi Koda performing a cover of hide with Spread Beaver’s 1998 hit song “Pink Spider.” The manga about the lives of five prostitutes in the American West during the mid 1800s premiered in 1999. The Kumi Koda music video for “Pink Spider” will be released later this winter. Kumi Koda’s latest album, which will include the song, will be released next February.
