Capcom Reconsiders Nintendo Exclusive Deal

According to the Nikkei Business Daily newspaper, Capcom has plans to end its exclusivity agreement with Nintendo due to slow sales of its GameCube exclusive Biohazard titles, Biohazard (re-make) and Biohazard Zero. After the release of the GameCube exclusive Biohazard 4, future Biohazard games will go back to being multi-platform releases.

Furthermore, although Xbox software sales account for only 1.5% of Capcom’s profits, the company plans to continue developing for the Xbox, hoping for better returns in the future.
