Capcom Reconsiders Nintendo Exclusive Deal
|According to the Nikkei Business Daily newspaper, Capcom has plans to end its exclusivity agreement with Nintendo due to slow sales of its GameCube exclusive Biohazard titles, Biohazard (re-make) and Biohazard Zero. After the release of the GameCube exclusive Biohazard 4, future Biohazard games will go back to being multi-platform releases.
Furthermore, although Xbox software sales account for only 1.5% of Capcom’s profits, the company plans to continue developing for the Xbox, hoping for better returns in the future.
