Cardcaptors Returns to TV Today

According to Toon Zone, Cardcaptors will return to the Kids’ WB lineup today with the premier of episode 34 “Sakura in Wonderland.” The series was pulled from syndication temporarily last month and replace with X-Men Evolution in order to boost viewership for November Nielsen Ratings Sweeps. Toon Zone reports that Warner Bros was able to rank #1 in the boys 6-11 viewer age group; dominate broadcast television in the kids 2-11 and 6-11, and girls 2-11 and 6-11; and tie for first place in the boys 2-11 viewer range for Saturday morning viewers among all competition including cable broadcasters.
