Cartoon Network Anime Updates

Contrary to prior reports that programs aired during the Cartoon Network’s Giant Robot Week, the first episodes of Evangelion and Nadesico broadcast on the Cartoon Network were heavily censored. Anime News Network has published a list of edited scenes and censored dialogue in Nadesico, and censored dialogue and digital editing in Evangelion.

Anime News Network has also confirmed with FUNimation that plans to broadcast Blue Gender on the Cartoon Network are not finalized yet. Considering that there’s no TV broadcast contract yet, there’s been no mention of possible editing yet.
