Comic Con Merchandise Update

Here’s still more interesting merchandise shown at the San Diego Comic Con. Figures.com has shots of Bandai’s booth, including shots of the Gundam Wing pilot action figures (Wu Fei, Quatre, Trowa, and Zechs), the 12″ electronic Wing Gundam, 4″ mecha action figures (Epyon, both Leos, Shen Long, and Tallgeese II), and perhaps best of all, the 1/100 scale Endless Waltz models, with tags saying “coming fall 2000.” Dark Horse Comics will be releasing the Masamune Shirow Requiem statue for $150 on September 20th. Figures.com has come up with shots of the three Equity Marketing Tenchi Muyo statues of Tenchi, Ryoko and Aeyka. The three PVC-plastic statues are being aimed for an October release. [Let’s hope that the final versions look better than these prototypes do.] Mecha fans will be interested in checking out Kotobukiya’s Armored Core 2 figures.

Also worth seeing is Raving Toy Maniac’s coverage of Palisades Marketing’s booth with shots of the Nightmare Soul Caliber figure, and the Front Mission 3 mecha, and Epoch’s booth with shots of the Mitsurugi Soul Caliber figure, and Samurai Spirits figures.
