D-BOY To Produce Dark Angel Figures

“D-Boy, Inc., in association with Kia Asamiya’s Studio Tron and Fanboy Entertainment, is pleased to announce they will be producing action figures based on Kia Asamiya’s DARK ANGEL manga series. Scheduled for early 2001, the first wave of DARK ANGEL toys will include four characters from the original black and white manga series. The line up includes Dark, Leen, Sen and Tan… D-Boy, Inc. is famous for their attention to detail, and their ability to capture the true likenesses of each character. In this case, to keep the true manga feel of each character, sculpting will be done by a number of top Japanese sculptors including the master craftsmen from Max Factory and Kotobukiya in Tokyo. Other D-Boy projects include Solar Lord & Dragonman Hyper Detail Action Figures, the Danger Girl Abbey Chase Statue, and their upcoming line of Warlands and Nine Rings of Wu Tang action figures.”
