Dark Horse to Publish Harlequin Romance Manga

Harlequin Enterprises has announced that Dark Horse Comics will publish and distribute manga adaptations of six best selling Harlequin romance novels through the United States, Canada, U.K. and Australia. Over 250 Harlequin novels have already been adapted into manga by Japanese artists and published in Japan by Ohzora Publishing.

Dark Horse will be releasing Harlequin manga in two lines. The Harlequin Ginger Blossom Pink line will be targeted at younger readers while the Harlequin Ginger Blossom Violet line will be intended for more sophisticated readers. Dark Horse will publish three books in each line, releasing one book in each lie every three months beginning this December.
