Dasshutsu Gasshapon Anime Announced

Bandai has announced that its upcoming mobile device game Dasshutsu Gasshapon (Escape Gasshapon) will get an anime adaptation, of some sort, from studio Tomato Kyoufuu. The seemingly Doraemon-inspired game revolves around an adult sending a “gasshapon” robot back in time to himself during his high-school days in order to prevent a future alien group from turning the galaxy dark & cold. However, due to malfunctioning time-traveling technology, instead of jumping to the future, the high-school age boy and his robot travel to Japan’s feudal past, where the boy grows up to become the famous warlord Oda Nobunaga.
