Details on Full Metal Panic Second Series

Dragon Magazine has annouced that the TV anime Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu will be 11 episodes long. This series was originally scheduled to commence broadcast on August 4th, but the air date was recently pushed back to August 25, 2003. The rumour is that the show was originally 12 episodes long but the second episode, which involved the kidnapping of a child, and has been cut from the lineup because of the fact that there was a kidnapping in Japan just recently, thus also resulting in the delay in broadcast. The 12th episode may perhaps turn up on the DVD release, so the rumour goes.
