Digimon Card Game Placed on Hiatus

The official Digimon Collectable Card Game website has announced that Bandai’s has placed the Digimon CCG “on hold” for the remainder of 2006, meaning that the three Digimon CCG products planned for 2006 will not be released. Bandai will decide in 2007 whether to complete its run of the old version of the game, begin anew with the new version, or leave it moribund. Bandai plans to focus all of its CCG efforts this year on Naruto, Zatch Bell, and Gundam War.
