Digital Manga Buys Out Books Nippan

Digital Manga, Inc., who recently announced their entry into domestic anime translation through the establishment of Synch-Point Productions, has now announced their move into domestic anime merchandise distribution through a buy-out of Books Nippan’s anime division. The anime retail division of Books Nippan will henceforth be known as Digital Manga Distribution (DMD). The company headquarters and professional staff will remain intact, but as of April 1st, ownership and management of the retail chain transferred from Books Nippan to Digital Manga.
