Discotek Acquires Makitoshi Shinjuku

Discotek has formally announced its license rescue of the 1988 feature-length OVA Demon City Shinjuku. Madhouse and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s anime adaptation of Hideyuki Kikuchi’s horror-adventure novel was previously distributed on American VHS and DVD by Central Park Media.

Nice pick-up. But that new title font is awfully ugly.
