Discotek Announces New Acquisitions
|Discotek has announced its acquisition of the three-episode Thermae Romae anime television series. The Flash animation adaptation of Mari Yamazaki’s award-winning manga was produced by studio DLE Inc. and aired in Japan this past January. The historical comedy about a Roman bath architect that time-travels to various modern Japanese public baths to get inspiration will be released on domestic DVD next year.
Discotek has also license-rescued the 1999 GTO anime television series that was previously distributed on doemstic DVD by Tokyopop. Discotek will re-release the series domestically next year.

Glad to see GTO is coming back into the game.
Hopefully, they’ll break up GTO into seasons so that I don’t over-purchase content… considering that I already owned what Tokyopop batched as “season one.”
