Discotek License Rescues Casshan OVA
Discotek has acquired the distribution rights to the four-episode Casshan: Robot Hunter OVA series from 1993. The remake of the 1973 television series was released on domestic VHS by Streamline Pictures in 1995 then re-released on domestic DVD by AD Vision in 2003.

Awesome. Now that’s the old school robot ultraviolence that I know and love.
I hope that when they release Casshan they include the original Japanese language with English subs since the prior releases didn’t have that option. Crossing fingers that the other Tatsunoko revivals from that era (Gatchaman ’94 and Hurricane Polymar) also get license rescued.
Actually, the prior release did have that option, but only on the special edition.
