Dragon Ball Release News

The official Dragonball Z homepage has revealed that the Dragonball Z Garlic Jr. Saga DVDs scheduled for release in June & July have been delayed with no new date. The Z Warriors Prepare DVD has also been delayed in order to add episodes 106-108 from the Trunks Prelude to Terror VHS and DVD release to the Z Warriors Prepare DVD, bringing its episode total up to 5. No word has been released regarding whether or not Funimation will take into consideration the fans that have already bought the Prelude to Terror DVD.

Funimation also confirmed that “World Tournament: The Draw” and “World Tournament: Blackout” are tentatively scheduled for simultaneous VHS and DVD release on July 17th. Provisionally, all new Dragonball Z home video releases after that point will be released on VHS and DVD simultaneously provided that the episodes have not yet aired on the Cartoon Network.
