Dragon Quest 8 Announced

Enix has announced via Japanese manga magazine V-Jump, that Dragon Quest 8 will be a Playstation 2 title featuring 3D cel shaded graphics. The game will be co-developed by Enix and Level 5, the developer of Dark Chronicle (AKA: Dark Cloud 2). The game will again be supervised by Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, and will again feature character designs by Akira Toriyama.
