Dragon Quest VII, Best Selling Game Ever

With over 4 million copies sold since its release in August 2000, Dragon Quest VII has now official become the best selling Playstation game ever. For comparison, Final Fantasy IX has sold 2.82 million copies in Japan, and in the US, popular Playstation titles including Chrono Cross and Parasite Eve 2 have sold under 600,000 copies each. Enix of Japan has announced that an English language version of Dragon Quest VII will be forthcoming, but the American branch of the company has yet to confirm or support this announcement.
