|According to Funimation’s website, dragonballz.com, Cartoon Network has purchased all the 174 remaining DBZ episodes, and will be showing 77 new Dragonball Z episodes starting in September. The new shows will go all the way to the end of the Cell saga. They also have plans for making DBZ video games for the Playstation, Playstation 2, Gameboy, PC and Mac due for release in 2001. Also, Irwin is making new action figures to be released this summer. The new figures are said to be much more articulated than the existing ones. They include Raditz, Nappa, Bulma & Frog, Roshi & Turtle, and Yagirobe & Corin. Also the DBZ DVDs will be released this summer and will contain subtitles done by someone “who is very meticulous at making an EXACT translation of the Japanese with no embellishments or alterations.”
