DreamWorks Licenses Millennium Actress

Perfect Blue director Satoshi Kon has officially confirmed that Dreamworks SKG has acquired the worldwide (outside Asia) distribution rights to Kon’s latest anime film, Millenium Actress. The film is a drama about a fictitious famous Japanese actress reminiscing about her life and career. The film was completed in January 2001 and had its world premier in Montreal, Canada last summer. The film is tentatively scheduled for Japanese theatrical wide release late this summer.
