FASA Closes Shop

After 20 years in the business, the seminal RPG production company FASA has announced that is going out of business. Best known for creating Battletech and the cyberpunk game Shadowrun, both licenses, along with certain assets of Ral Partha Enterprises, a line of highly regarded miniature lead figures for use with tabletop RPGs, are being sold to Wizkids LLC, a successful new start-up company run by FASA co-founder Jordan Weisman. FASA will remain in operation until April 30th, in order to fill all of their remaining orders, and collect all debts owed to the company and settle all accounts.
