First Details on Escape From New York Anime

Ain’t It Cool News has discovered that the “Snake Plisken anime” will be a co-production between Hollywood and producer Debra Hill and animation studio Production IG, the studio responsible for films including Ghost in the Shell and Jin-Roh. A sneak peak at the Escape from New York anime, which will actually be a sequel to Escape from LA, will be included on the upcoming special edition Escape From New York DVD. The anime is tentatively planned for worldwide release in 2005.
