First Mahou Sensou Trailer Released

The first trailer for next month’s Mahou Sensou (“Magical Warfare”) anime television series has appeared online. Madhouse is animating the adaptation of Hisashi Suzuki’s light novel series about an average teen boy drawn into a parallel world battle among teenage magic users. Yuzo Sato (Kaiji, Gokusen) is directing the series for a January 9 premiere.
