First Resident Evil Movie Shot

The live-action Resident Evil movie has begun filming in Berlin, Germany, and IGN Dreamcast has posted the first promotional image of the film’s lead Milla Jovovich in costume. The movie, directed by Paul Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon) from his own script, stars Jovovich (Joan of Arc, The Fifth Element), Michelle Rodriguez (Girlfight), and a presently unrevealed male. The film’s story contains the trademark zombie hordes and S.T.A.R.S. police force but adds an out of control supercomputer called Red Queen, which is responsible for the industrial accident that turns scientists into flesh eating zombies.
