First Review of Road to Perdition

While not directly genre related, the upcoming action/drama film Road to Perdition, directed by Sam (American Beauty) Mendes starring Tom Hanks, Jude Law and Paul Newman is a faithful adaptation of the 1998 graphic novel written by Max Allan Collins. The original comic story, and the movie adapted from it, are both an acknowledged homage to the classic Lone Wolf & Cub manga story transposed from feudal Japan to 1930s era Chicago.
