First Usagi Drop Anime Spot Streaming
|The homepage for Production I.G’s anime TV series adaptation of Yumi Unita’s Usagi Drop manga has added a streaming trailer. The story about a 30 year-old bachelor who unofficially adopts his late grandfather’s illigitimate 6 year-old daughter will premiere in the Fuji TV network’s Noitamina timeslot on July 7.
A live-action Usagi Drop motion picture from acclaimed director Sabu is scheduled to open in Japan on August 20.
Trailer looks great. I suppose I really should get around to reading the first volume of the manga that I bought a few weeks ago.

Looks nice, but Sabu (Hiroyuki Tanaka) is doing a manga adaptation? I’m suddenly way more interested in that one :p
Might be a feel good show, I’m a sucker for the slice of life types. Perhaps an official streamer will pick it up here in the US.
