Fox Kids’ Announces 2001-2001 Line-up

At least 2 new anime series will premier as part of next season’s new Fox Kids’ broadcast. Comics Continuum doesn’t mention Slayers at all, but it does confirm that the next season of Fox Kids will include at least 7 new shows. The 2 noteable ones are Transformers: Robots in Disguise and “Shinzo.” Transformers: Robots in Disguise will be the full, traditional cel art 39 episode Transformers: Car Robots series, the most recent Transformers series to air on Japanese television. Shinzo is the recent anime sci-fi hero TV series Mashurambo.

The other 5 new series announced are John (Ren & Stimpy) Kricfalusi’s The Ripping Friends (a superhero parody), Evolution (a sci-fi action adventure based on the upcoming Ivan Reitman movie), What’s With Andy (a Dennis the Menace style comedy based on stories by Andy Griffiths), the live action w/CG fantasy Outer Dimension, and an animated adaptation of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series.
