FUNimation News from Anime Central

FUNimation announced at last weekend’s Anime Central that 4Kids Entertainment has licensed the Shaman King and Sonic X anime TV series for American television broadcast. FUNimation will handle the home video releases.

Dragonball Z movie 8 will be released to DVD on August 26th. All of Dragonball and Dragonball Z will see American DVD release eventually.

Dragonball GT episodes 1-15 will be released in America after episodes 16-64.

The Sakura Wars Sumire OVA will use voice actors from either Pioneer or AD Vision’s dub cast.

A DVD series box for Fruits Basket will be released eventually, in an as-yet-undecided form.
