FUNimation Releases Prototype Sgt. Frog Episode

FUNimation has uploaded an English dubbed “test episode” of the Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunso) TV series to YouTube, along with a request for critiques.

AD Vision acquired domestic distribution rights to the anime series in 2006 but never released any episodes. The distribution license was transferred to FUNimation earlier this year. The television series based on Yoshizaki Mine’s best selling manga launched in 2004, and is one of Japan’s most successful contemporary anime series. The fourth Sgt. Frog motion picture is scheduled for Japanese theatrical release next March.
