The LA Times has written an article about the upcoming Godzilla 2000 domestic release. Sony spent $500,000 for the rights to Godzilla 2000, which has been moved up to August 18th. Loew’s Trailer Park has the trailer for Godzilla 2000 available for down-load. There is little enthusiasm for the 1998 CGI Godzilla at Sony. A sequel to the movie is a low priority, and if a sequel is developed, it will be made on a smaller budget.
