G4 to Air Ultraviolet: Code 044 This Month

The G4 TV network will begin broadcasting an English dub of the 2008 Ultraviolet: Code 044 sci-fi action anime TV series on February 19 at midnight, immediately after airing the 2006 Ultraviolet live-action movie that inspired the anime. The late director Osamu Dezaki’s original anime series is loosely based on the concept and setting introduced in creator/director Kurt Wimmer’s American motion picture. Crackle has been streaming the anime series online since April 2011.

The movie was a massive disappointment because Screen Gems took creative control away from director & star Wimmer & Jovovich. The anime spin-off is simply boring.
