|In a surprise announcement, Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty will be available in the US in November, a month before its Japanese release, in order to capitalize on the Christmas buying season.
Capcom has announced that Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper and Breath of Fire 2 will be ported to the Game Boy Advance. Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper will be a direct port of the recent Japanese arcade re-release of Street Fighter Zero (Alpha) 3. Like the GBA Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire 2 will be re-drawn for the GBA and feature upgrades in the game system.
According to the official Japanese Capcom homepage, Capcom vs SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 will be released for arcade, Playstation 2 and Dreamcast.
Marvelous Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing King of Fighters for GameBoy Advance this December. Unlike the SNK Neo Geo Pocket versions of KoF, the GBA version will not be SD, but seems to be based loosely on KoF ’99 and will feature over 20 playable characters.
Marvelous Entertainment will also be releasing Love Hina Advance, a GBA anime adventure game based on the Love Hina TV animation, this September for a retail price of 5800 yen.
