According to rumors, Capcom may have Capcom vs SNK 3 ready for release on the Xbox and Gamecube in Japan early next year. Capcom has not yet officially confirmed any plans for a third game in the franchise. The Dreamcast version was recently released, and Capcom is currently still preparing the American PS2 version for release in November.

Capcom’s Shinji Mikami has also revealed that Only the original Biohazard will be totally re-made for release on the Game Cube. The Game Cube versions of Biohazard 2, 3 and Code: Veronica will be closer to direct ports of the original PS and Dreamcast versions.

Konami has announced that a scene in Metal Gear Solid 2 involving the World Trade Center will be removed from the game, but otherwise the game will be unchanged and will make it’s originally scheduled American November 13th release date.
