Geneon Announces New Acquisitions

Geneon Entertainment announced the acquisition of several new anime titles at last weekend’s Las Vegas Comic Con:

Gadguard, Gonzo Studio’s current groovy and stylish giant robot action adventure TV series.

The 75 episode Hajime no Ippo anime TV series about amateur boxing, produced by Madhouse Studios.

Ikkitousen, the current T&A filled street fighting anime TV series.

Demon Lord Dante (Mao Dante), the Go Nagai created horror action TV series from 2002. Oddly, at the 2002 Anime Central convention Media Blasters announced that they had licensed this series.

Geneon also announced a number of domestic anime soundtrack releases scheduled for February release: Chobits Character Song Collection, Fruits Basket Original Soundtrack ‘Memory for You’ and Last Exile Original Soundtrack.
