Gensou Mangekyou Episode 4 Trailer Released

Amateur animator group Manpaku Jinja has released a trailer for the fourth episode of its Touhou anime series Gensou Mangekyou ~ Memories of Phantasm. Manpaku Jinja released its first “Gensou Mangekyou” episode in 2011. Production of the fourth episode is expected to finish later this summer. The fan-created anime shorts are based on the Touhou Project PC shooting games developed and distributed by programmer “ZUN.” Although ZUN has been reticent to allow the development of major studio-produced anime based on his Touhou Project video games, he does allow the creation and distribution of independent, fan-produced anime adaptations.
