Gingitsune Anime Announced

An official website has launched to announce the development of an anime TV series based on Sayori Ochiai’s supernatural comedy/drama manga Gingitsune. The series revolves around Makoto Saeki, a teen girl whose father is the head priest of a Shinto shrine. Makoto is the only human that can see and interact with the shrine’s resident fox spirit. The ongoing manga premiered in 2008. Anime studio Dio Media (in-between animation for Amagami SS, Shiki) will produce the show. Misawa Shin (Initial D First Stage, Dr. Rin ni Kiite Mite) will direct.
