Giovanni no Shima Trailer Released

Production I.G has released the first trailer for its upcoming original historical drama film Giovanni no Shima (Giovanni’s Island). The movie revolves around two brothers on the rural Japanese island of Shikotan who become friends with a Russian girl in 1945, just as Japan surrenders to conclude WWII. The film will open in Japanese theaters on February 22.
