Glass City Con 7 This Weekend

The seventh Glass City anime convention will be held this coming Saturday & Sunday at the Seagate Convention Centre in Toledo, Ohio. This year’s guests of honor include voice actors Leah Clark, Tony Oliver, and Jad Saxton. I’ll also be on hand presenting lectures on “How the 90s Affected Anime,” “Iconic Images Every Otaku Should Know,” “Rescue Me!” (a discussion on exceptional domestic expired anime licenses), and “The Practical Otaku Guide to Tokyo.” Glass City Con is a friendly, intimate, nostalgic “true” non-profit anime fan convention (not a “pop culture” convention) run by fans for fans. So if you’re in the area, drop by to hang out, meet friends old & new, and share your enthusiasm for Japanese animation.
