Glass Mask Gag Anime Announced

Flash animation studio DLE has announced its development of Glass no Kamen Desu ga (It’s Glass Mask But), a parody of Suzue Miuchi’s classic 1975 shoujo manga that reinvisions the series’ aspiring stage actresses as juvenile delinquents. Rivals Maya Kitajima and Ayumi Himekawa will, this time, compete not for leading roles but for leadership of the “Crimson Goddess” gang. 17 three-minute episodes will begin airing on April 7.
