Godzilla 2000 Movie Information

Sony has said that the upcoming Godzilla 2000 release has been cut by 9 minutes but only “human” scenes were sacrificed. Most of these cuts involved shortening sequences of military mobilizations and other excessively long sequences. Some are reporting that Sony apparently had problems with getting theatres to accept the film, but threatened not to let these theaters screen Spider-Man if they did not show Godzilla 2000. According to rumors, the dubbing heard in the current trailers has been thrown out and re-done by Sony/Tristar’s studios using “WordFit” technology. The new dub job is said to be much better than the current dub by Hong Kong studios.
