Godzilla Director Dies

Japanese director Jun Fukuda passed away December 3, 2000, at the age of 77, after a long struggle with lung cancer. Fukuda will be known to genre fans as the director of Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster (1966), Son of Godzilla (1967), Godzilla Vs. Gigan (1972), Godzilla Vs. Megalon (1973), Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) and the Yoju Kyoshitsu (Monster Classroom) adult anime series, released in the US under the title Demon Beast Invasion.
