Gonzo Announces Additional Cutbacks

Gonzo Digimation Holdings (GDH) has formally requested roughly 50 of its 200 GDH and Gonzo anime production studio employees to voluntarily retire in order to reduce GDH operating expenses. Employees that agree to retire will receive a a one-time bonus payment equivalent to one-month’s salary. GDH has also announced plans to sell its GDH Capital financing subsidiary for 213 million yen (about $2.2 million). These latest moves continue GDH’s efforts to streamline and return the company to profitability.
