Gonzo Buys Warp Gate Online

Gonzo Digimation Holdings (GDH) has announced its acquisition of Japanese PC game development studio Warp Gate Online, the producers of Japan’s 7th most popular MMORPG, Knight Online. “Following its entry into live action movies, GDH is entering the online game business with the intent of actively expanding its business in related fields.” GDH sub-division Gonzo Studio will provide animation and other support for online games with the goal of reaching the top of Japan’s online PC game market share within three years.
