Hayao Miyazaki’s Son to Direct Ghibli Film

Film producer Toshio Suzuki has announced that Studio Ghibli’s next feature film will be directed by Hayao Miyazaki’s son Goro Miyazaki. Goro Miyazaki is the former director of the Studio Ghibli Museum. Reportedly Hayao Miyazaki is “fiercely against the idea” of his son directing Ghibli’s next film. Details about the film itself will be announced in Japan on December 13th.
