Hells Angels Movie to Hit Subbed BD
|Madhouse’s long-delayed and seemingly lost 2008 anime film Hells will finally hit Japanese Blu-ray on August 3. The 5,040 yen ($63 USD) disc will include optional English subtitles. The adaptation of Sin’Ichi Hiromoto’s 2002-2004 horror/comedy/adventure manga Hells Angels tells the story of a human girl who ends up enrolled in a high school in Hell. The rarely seen film screened at the 2008 Tokyo International Film Festival.
Outstanding. I’ve been anticipating this movie since 2006 (?) when it was first announced.

This sounds interesting!
Thanks for bringing this film up…
The fact that it’s Blu ray and subbed makes it easier to consider a buy even if it’s $63 which is NOT bad by modern import BD and videogame cost standards!
I know about Madhouse’s production record so I’m anticipating at least a decent film…
