Hideo Kojima defines Metal Gear Solid X

Series creator Hideo Kojima has finally confirmed details of the X-box version of Metal Gear Solid, ending months of speculation about the game. Metal Gear Solid X will be a combination of the original PlayStation Metal Gear Solid and the Playstation 2 Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Exactly what elements of each game will be included in the Xbox version has yet to be disclosed. The “full” version of Sons of Liberty will be available only on the PlayStation 2. Kojima has also confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty will be the final new game in the Metal Gear franchise that began on the 8 bit Famicom system.
