High Score Girl Anime Announced

Publisher Square Enix has announced that Rensuke Oshikiri’s 2010 & ongoing romantic comedy manga High Score Girl will receive an anime adaptation. The manga set in 1991 stars a sixth-grade boy who develops a friendly competitive relationship with a female classmate who turns out to be a master video-game player. The anime TV series adaptation of Oshikiri’s supernatural comedy manga Pupipo! premiered last week.
