Hoshi no Furumachi Live Action Movie Announced

Oricon reports that producers are now holding open auditions for the cast of a live action film adaptation of Hidenori Hara’s drama manga series Hoshi no Furumachi ~ When You Wish Upon a Star. Final auditions and the movie filming will actually be held around Himishi City, Toyama, where the manga story occurs. The manga revolves around Kotaro Tsutsumi, a high school age boy who matures by developing relationships with his classmates and neighbors. The manga was serialized from 2006-2008 and compiled into 7 collected volumes.
