Images of New Japanese Action Figures

Alfrex Co. Ltd. is currently the only toy company in the world producing action figures based on Japanese “jidaigeki” (samurai drama) movies. The 12″ highly detailed figures Alfrex produces are quite expensive at $150 each, but are produced in very limited number and are highly sought after collectables by serious collectors. Figures.com has posted a dozen images of currently available and upcoming Alfrex figures including the entire cast of Akira Kurosawa’s The Seven Samurai, Tomisaburo Wakayama as the Lone Wold Itto Ogami, Sonny Chiba as the ninja Hattori Hanzo, and Toshiro Mifune as a general samurai.

Figures.com has also posted the first image of a new action figure from Toycom based on the Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface manga.
