Kannagi Anime TV Series Confirmed

Japanese publishing company Ichijinsha has formally confirmed recent rumors of plans for an anime TV series adaptation of Eri Takenashi’s supernatural comedy manga series Kannagi. Volume 38 of Ichijinsha’s email newsletter has confirmed that Kannagi will be developed into an anime TV series.

Kannagi revolves around an art student named Jin Mikuriya who carves a wooden statue, only to have to come to life as the female goddess that formerly possessed the tree that the wood came from.
